About Us

My name is Dawn and I have been writing for over three years. I have lived in my small rural town, Kingston, on the border of Texas!

Having taught in school for the last 20 years and have raised 3 children from kindergarten through to university and 7 grand-kids going through the system now, I really understand the pain and worries that some parents and even grandparents feel when their kids are going out of the nest for the first time.

So here are some things that I have picked up over the years that I wished I had known when my kids and grand-kids were/are going through education. If it helps even one of you, my blog achieved its purpose :)
